Leaving Me

It's been a while since you left me

Standing alone

Fighting the fight

Called Life

Things are happening in the world today

And I thank God your not here

For the miserys of the world

But you never gave yourself the chance

The chance to make your life worth living\

You never gave me the chance

To help you deal with what went through your head

I never once blamed you

For my problems

But you left me without saying a proper goodbye

And a heart that doesn't know how to heal

How can I forgive you for leaving me?

How do I forget about the mistake you made?

And most importantly

How do I move on?

Letting Go

The words I used to say so often

Are now fading with each and every day

There won't be any more sad goodbyes

I'm letting go of the mistake you made

It wasn't my fault

I've learned that now

I'm letting of the thoughts

The thoughts that you'll come back

Your dead now

There is no coming back

I'm letting go of the memories we shared

They're now burried with you

I'm letting go of the lock

The lock you had on me

This is my final goodbye

Because I'm letting go of...

You

The Girl

In the paper is a name of a boy

Who took his very own life

His family torn apart

His friends affected

The girl he liked most

Closed up her heart

She knew

She knew the way he felt

She blamed herself

For not trying harder to stop him

There's nothing she could have done

Years passed by

Her memories started to fade

She knew she had to see the boy

Who took his life so many years ago

On her 18th Birthday

She met up with that boy

And walked through the white light

With his hand in hers

Bzzz...the alarm clock went off

The memories they shared

Were rekindled in her mind

That day she knew everything would be all right

Because she knew

That boy

Was watching over her

Each and every day
